Purple Jacket Race Down to Four Contenders
The race for the 2026 Poker Masters Purple Jacket is down to just four players, with Adrian Mateos, Nicholas Palma, Nicholas Seward and Jeremy Ausmus the only ones left who can claim the jacket and the accompanying $25,000 bonus.
Mateos remains the man to catch with 451 PGT points, but Palma (407), Seward (397) and Ausmus (321) are all still in the hunt as Event #10: $51,000 NLH plays out at the PokerGO Studio.
Several players who could have challenged Mateos have fallen out of contention. Vitalijs Zavorotnijs, Joey Weissman, Justin Vaysman and Myles Mullaly all opted to skip the final event, ending their chances of moving up the standings.
Daniyal Gheba, who entered the finale fifth on the leaderboard with 348 points, did take his shot. However, he was eliminated and chose not to reenter, bringing his Purple Jacket hopes to an end.
