Mateos Makes a Crying Call

Calum Grant

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

There was around 275,000 in the pot in the blind on blind battle between Adrian Mateos and Myles Mullaly.

The board read 9♠2♠Q♣A♦, and Mateos check-called for 90,000.

The 10♣ river completed the board, and Mateos checked. Mullaly bet 200,000, leaving 10,000 behind. Mateos immediately exhaled a deep breath, and used several time banks as he mulled over his options. He then appeared to make a reluctant call.

Mateos mucked when Mullaly tabled A♥K♥ for top-pair-top-kicker.
