Cary Katz joined Table 4 with a fresh starting stack. It was his third and final entry of the day, and his 125,000 chips quickly found their way into the middle after exchanging raises with Jesse Lonis.
Cary Katz: 9♠9♦
Jesse Lonis: A♦K♣
The J♦8♦5♣ flop kept Katz ahead but Lonis paired up on the A♠ turn and secured the pot after the 4♦ river.
Joao Simao opened to 11,000 from the hijack and called when Eric Blair made it 47,000 from the small blind.
Simao called bets of 17,000 and 31,000 on the flop and turn for the board to read K♠7♥3♣K♣3♠. Blair moved all in for around 90,000 and Simao quickly called.
Blair tabled Q♣Q♠ for kings and queens, but Simao tabled A♣A♠ for a better two pair.
Nicholas Seward opened to 10,000 from the button and Cherish Andrews called from the small blind.
Andrews check-called for 15,000 on the 10♥9♦8♠ flop. On the 5♦ turn, Andrews check-raised to 145,000 over a bet of 72,000. Seward called, leaving him with around 160,000 behind.
The A♠ river completed the board, and Andrew shoved as the much bigger stack. After getting a count, Seward used up several time banks before calling for his tournament life in the biggest pot of the day.
Andrews flopped the nut straight with Q♦J♦, and Seward dejectedly turned over his 9♠9♣ before leaving the PokerGO Studio.
