Andrews Takes Out Lonis

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Cherish Andrews
Cherish Andrews

A big pot was pushed to Cherish Andrews early on as she claimed Jesse Lonis' stack.

The chips went in on the river of the 8♥7x4♥10xA♥ board. Lonis had AxK♥, but it was no good against Andrews' 8x8x, which flopped a set. Lonis quickly reentered.

Andrews continued that momentum the following hand, raising to 2,500 from the cutoff. Ping Liu called from the big blind, but then check-folded to a bet of 3,500 on the 10♣7♥6♥ flop.

Andrews raised again the following hand, and took down the pot.
