Day 1 Action

The chip counts are tightly packed heading into the final day of Event #6, with Sean Winter leading the final seven after bagging 1,405,000. Winter, a familiar face on the high-stakes circuit and a multiple-time PGT title winner, will look to add another title to his resume.

Not far behind is Victoria Livschitz, who sits in second with 1,395,000, just 10,000 chips off the lead. Justin Vaysman rounds out the top three with 1,205,000, keeping the race at the top wide open.

Also still in contention are Sam Laskowitz (1,115,000), Brandon Wilson (1,085,000), Tony Gregg (805,000), and Joey Weissman (795,000), with all seven players looking to capture the $192,000 top prize.

The field featured a number of notable names, including several players who had already made deep runs throughout the series.

Among the notable players who fell short of the money was the Purple Jacket race leader coming into the day, Nicholas Palma, Sean Perry, Chino Rheem, Sam Soverel and Nick Schulman.

Fourth Bubble in Six Event for Mateos

Adrian Mateos found himself on the wrong side of the money bubble once again, bubbling for the fourth time in six events at the 2026 Poker Masters.

Mateos got his ace-queen in against Robert Chorlian’s ace-six and Justin Vaysman’s pocket sevens. Vaysman’s pair held to score the double knockout and burst the bubble.

However, it wasn’t all bad for Mateos, who captured the Event #5 title earlier in the day and now sits atop the Purple Jacket Player of the Series leaderboard.
