Level 5
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu has joined the field after a round of 18 holes on the golf course and wasted no time playing a pot, betting 8,000 out of the rack right as he sat down to win the blinds.
As he sat down, Negreanu told table mate Nicholas Palma that he was "the Mike Matusow of your generation."
"Minus the no money part and sucking for 20 years," said Palma.
"He had money at your age, too," Negreanu replied, but Palma wasn't having it.
"I protect my money."
