Sandeep Koralla open-jammed on the button for 3,100,000 and Natalie Ferguson called off in the small blind with 2,600,000.
Natalie Ferguson: A♠2♠
Sandeep Koralla: Q♥9♣
The flop landed J♠K♦9♥ to give Koralla the lead before the 2♦ river bricked off to mark Ferguson's elimination after her impressive post-dead-hand spin-up.
In a limped pot between the blinds, Natalie Ferguson checked on the flop of 8♥8♣K♥ holding 10♥2♥ and Myles Mullaly bet 200,000 with 8♠4♣. Ferguson called.
Ferguson checked on the 2♣ turn and Mullaly bet 600,000. Ferguson again called.
Ferguson then led out for 1,000,000 on the 10♦ river after pairing her ten. Mullaly raised to put her all in for her final 725,000 and she went deep into the tank.
Ferguson's final time bank expired just before she announced call. Several floor supervisors were then called in and ruled that her hand was dead, leaving her with three and a half big blinds.
It was the right outcome for Ferguson as her pair of tens was crushed by the trips of Mullaly.
"This should be a dead hand, you would guess, and if that is the case, saved by the bell is Natalie Ferguson," said commentator Donnie Peters.
Sandeep Koralla raised to 300,000 in the cutoff with J♥4♥ and Daniyal Gheba defended his big blind with K♦4♦.
The flop of 7♦9♦7♥ checked through and Gheba checked again on the A♦ turn. Koralla bet 275,000 and Gheba check-raised to bring a quick fold from his opponent.
Kent Stephens opened to 300,000 in the small blind with A♣2♣ and Sandeep Koralla three-bet to 900,000 in the big blind with A♠7♠. Stephens called.
Both players checked on the flop of 4♥2♥9♥ and Stephens checked again on the 8♥ turn. Koralla bet 400,000 and Stephens check-jammed to bring a quick fold from his opponent.
