Tragic Ending for Hamlet
Level 12
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Brandon Hamlet opened from middle position and Kai Nicholls called on the button before Sean Winter three-bet to 70,000 in the small blind.
Hamlet then four-bet all in for around 180,000 and Nicholls snap-called to send Winter deep into the tank. After using two time banks, Winter folded what he later said was pocket jacks.
Brandon Hamlet: A♥A♦
Kai Nicholls: Q♠Q♦
Hamlet was out of his seat as the flop landed 4♦Q♥4♥ to give his opponent a full house, and he couldn't hit an ace as the board finished out 8♦2♣ to bring an end to Hamlet's run so tragic that William Shakespeare couldn't conceive of it.
