It's almost time for the start of the 2026 U.S. Poker Open, a PokerGO Tour (PGT) series running inside the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas from April 10-23.

The series kicks off today at noon local time with Day 1 of Event #1: $5,000 NLH, a two-day event that should draw a mix of PokerGO regulars and local grinders looking to move up in stakes.

The first three events will feature 30-minute levels with a break every four levels and entry open through the start of Level 9. Players will begin with starting stacks of 125,000 and blinds of 500/1,000/1,000.

The event is the first of three at the $5,000 buy-in level before the stakes climb to $10,000 and then $15,000. The series will close out with a $25,000 finale, which will award the most leaderboard points and will likely be the determining factor in the series leaderboard race.

Just like with last month's PokerGO Cup, PokerNews will be on-site in the PokerGO Studio to provide live updates and digital coverage of the entire series. That series was an exciting one (and a sad one for fans of wild boars) that saw high-stakes pro Brock Wilson winning the series title before the final event even finished.

Last year's USPO saw longtime pro Shannon Shorr winning the $25,000 finale for $529,250 and the overall series title.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team is on its way to the PokerGO Studio for coverage of Event #1: $5,000 NLH. Check out the live reporting hub in the meantime.
