Michael Berk came into today as the short stack seeking redemption after taking two gross beats late on Day 1. Instead, he got "scammed" a third time in one of the first hands of the day.
Michael Berk was all in from the small blind against Cherish Andrews in early position.

Berk was once again in great shape, but the board ran out J♠10♠8♦K♦J♣ to have him saying "good heavens" as Andrews made Broadway to send him to the rail in sixth place.
Just five players remain in the final $5,000 buy-in event of the 2026 U.S. Poker Open (USPO) in Las Vegas, and leading the way is local pro Sam Laskowitz as he looks to win his latest PokerGO Tour (PGT) title.
Laskowitz will have to fend off a crew of accomplished pros in Event #3: $5,000 NLH, including Adam Hendrix, Cherish Andrews, Yifu He and Michael Berk, as well as popular poker vlogger Ethan "Rampage" Yau.

If Berk has a Burn Book, "Rampage" likely made his way into its pages last night, perhaps with a line like "Too lucky to function," after delivering two brutal suckouts to Berk that left the pro speechless. Berk will look for revenge today as he enters as the short stack.
Recent Event #1 champion Brock Wilson predicted that Andrews, his girlfriend, would be in the winner's circle sometime soon, and that prediction could manifest itself today. Hendrix, meanwhile, will seek redemption after having his pocket jacks crushed by quad sevens on Day 1.

Day 2 will kick off at 11:45 a.m. local time on Level 21 with blinds of 50,000/100,000/100,000, who will win the trophy and first-place prize of $143,750. Meanwhile, each returning player is guaranteed a payout of at least $28,750.
