With the boarrd reading 10♠4♥3♠4♦9♦ and a bit under 60,000 in the middle, Clemen Deng shoved for 95,000 from the big blind. Joao Simao, on the button, went deep into the tank.
"Very first hand," Simao commented with a smile. Deng did not reply.
Simao weighed his options for a little more than three minutes, burning through six time extensions before mucking his hand.

The action gets underway at 12:00 p.m. with players receiving a 125,000 starting stack, worth 125 big blinds at Level 1. Blinds will increase every 30 minutes from Levels 1-12, before increasing to 40 minutes from Level 13 onward. A short break will take place after every four levels of play, and up to two reentries are permitted until registration closes at the start of Level 9, at approximately 4:45 p.m. The plan, which may change at the tournament director's discretion, is to play until six players remain.

Clemen Deng currently leads the U.S. Poker Open leaderboard with 204 points after his victory yesterday in Event #2: $5,000 NLH.
