Wilson Finally Bursts the Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Brock Wilson
Brock Wilson

Justin Vaysman raised to 50,000 from under the gun, and it folded to Brock Wilson in the small blind who three-bet to 200,000. Then the big blind Kent Stephens moved all in for 230,000 in the big blind. Vaysman folded, and Wilson made the call to put Stephens at risk.

Kent Stephens: 99 All in
Brock Wilson: AK

It was a flip for Stephens tournament life, and he stayed in front after the 6104 flop, but the K hit Wilson on the turn to give him the lead. The river was the J to give Wilson the pot and make Stephens the unfortunate bubble boy.

Chewy Can't Get Lucky on Becker

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded to Andrew Lichtenberger on the button who moved all in for 140,000. Jeremy Becker in the small blind then raised to 250,000, which got the big blind out, and the two players heads up with Lichtenberger at risk.

Andrew Lichtenberger: J9 All in
Jeremy Becker: AA

Becker had aces and Lichtenberger on the brink of elimination. But the 6910 flop gave Lichtenberger some hope, and he picked up extra outs after the 3 on the turn. But the 10 on the river was no help, giving Becker the pot as Lichtenberger was eliminated just shy of the money.
