Day 1 Completed
The 2026 U.S. Poker Open Event #6: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em took place inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino, drawing 80 entries. The top 12 players will made the money, with $224,000 up top for the winner.
By the end of the night, it was Brock Wilson who bagged the chip lead, running hot late and converting that momentum into a commanding stack into the final day.
| Rank | Player | Country | Chip Count | Big Blinds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Brock Wilson | United States | 4,090,000 | 82 |
| 2 | Nick Schulman | United States | 2,910,000 | 58 |
| 3 | Clemen Deng | United States | 1,445,000 | 29 |
| 4 | Jeremy Becker | United States | 805,000 | 16 |
| 5 | Justin Vaysman | United States | 750,000 | 15 |
The day began with one of the wildest hands of the tournament, involving Jeremy Becker, Chino Rheem, and Wilson.
After Wilson three-bet from the big blind, all three players saw 9♠4♠8♥ flop where the action quickly spiraled. Becker raised Wilson’s continuation bet, Rheem re-raised, and Wilson eventually folded after using multiple time extensions—later indicating he had pocket aces.
The hand only escalated from there, with Becker and Rheem continuing to click it back until a six-bet was reached before the turn. By the time the chips went in, Becker tabled J♠10♠ against Rheem’s 6♠5♠ with Becker’s jack-high and stronger draw holding up to earn him an early double.
The shocking hand left the table buzzing and set the tone for the rest of the day, with Becker riding that momentum all the way to the final table, where he will return for Day 2 as well.
Despite the relatively small field, plenty of star power took their shot, but not all could reach the money.
Among those to fall short of the 12 paid spots were current series leader Cherish Andrews, Alex Foxen, Kristen Foxen, Jesse Lonis, and Sam Soverel, along with several other familiar names.
The money bubble brought the tension expected of a high-stakes field, and it was Brock Wilson once again at the center of the action.
Kent Stephens got his chips in with pocket nines against Wilson’s ace-king. Stephens was ahead preflop, but a king on the turn flipped the script, sending him to the rail on the bubble.
With that elimination, the remaining 12 players locked up a payday and shifted their focus toward the final table and the $224,000 top prize.
Just five players remain in contention, with Brock Wilson continuing to lead the way after his late surge. Hall of Famer Nick Schulman sits closest behind, while Becker, Justin Vaysman, and Clemen Deng round out the final five, each still in the hunt for the title.
Play will resume in Level 18 with blinds at 25,000/50,000 and a 50,000 big blind ante, where the remaining players will battle it out for the $224,000 top prize.

Action was picked up with Michael Berk all in for 525,000, with Brock Wilson putting him at risk.
Michael Berk: K♥10♣
Brock Wilson: K♣J♦
Wilson had Berk dominated, but after the 8♥10♦5♠ flop, Berk jumped into the lead. Wilson picked up extra outs in the form of a Broadway draw after the A♥ on the turn, which came right in after the Q♦ on the river, to give Wilson Broadway, knock out Berk, and end the night.

Brock Wilson opened from the hijack and was called by the big blind Jeremy Becker.
After the 7♥K♠J♠ flop, Becker check-called a bet of 80,000 from Wilson.
The turn brought the J♣, and Becker check-called another bet, this time for 100,000.
Both players checked after the 2♠ on the river, and Becker tabled Kx2x to take the pot, as Wilson quickly mucked.

Action folded to Jeremy Becker in the small blind, and he moved all in for his stack of 230,000, which was quickly called by Justin Vaysman in the big blind to put Becker at risk.
Jeremy Becker: 3♠3♥
Justin Vaysman: K♥9♠
It was a flip for Becker's tournament life, but Vaysman took a commanding lead on the 5♣K♠2♣ flop. The 10♣ on the turn kept Vaysman in front, but the 3♦ on the river gave Becker a set, to keep his tournament going and double up.

Action was picked up on the river, with the board showing 4♥K♣4♦6♦8♥ and roughly 250,000 in the pot.
After the river, Darren Elias checked to Clemen Deng, who bet to put Elias all in for his stack of roughly 400,000. Elias sat in the tank, using multiple time extensions, and flipping in a chip to call. Elias turned over A♠7♥ for just ace high, but Deng had A♣K♠ to take the pot with his pair of kings and knock out Elias.
