Simon Kullenberg Eliminated in Fourth Place (€2,820)

Simon Kullenberg - 4th
Simon Kullenberg - 4th
Simon Kullenberg and Mark Schouten reached a {J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, where Kullenberg bet 25,000 and Schouten called. As soon as the {K-Spades} turn was dealt, Kullenberg moved all in for 64,000 and rose from his seat.

"Do you have a flush?" inquired Schouten, to which he received no response.

After a minute or two of dwellage, Schouten made the call and flicked {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} onto the felt. Kullenberg showed {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The board failed to pair, and Kullenberg was gone. There was no Schouten (ahem) from Mark, meanwhile -- he took the pot quietly.

Fedor Los Doubles Through

On a {4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, Mark Schouten led out for 15,000 and Fedor Los pushed in a pile of chips which appeared to be well over the pot. It didn't matter, in the end, as Schouten wasn't going anywhere and soon shoved his stack across the line. Los made the call for the shrapnel he'd left behind.

Los = {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Schouten = {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Turn = {4-Hearts}
River = {Q-Spades}

Mark Vos Bubbles the High Roller Event (€0 and a Very Small Trophy)

Trophyless, moneyless
Trophyless, moneyless
Next hand Vos raised pot from the button and called all in to the reraise from Tony G in the big blind. On their backs, and Vos was on his bike.

Vos: {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {7-Clubs} {4-Hearts}
Tony G: {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}

Board: {A-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {7-Spades} {9-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

"On yer bike!" said a jovial Tony G. "You know in Macau, they see eights, that's it, it's like heaven."

Vos becomes our high-rolling bubble boy, and wandered off, forgetting to take his tiny trophy with him. We imagine he's in the bar.

Tony G Doubles Up

High Rollers:

Tony G raised from the button and then called all in to Mark Vos' reraise out of the small blind.

Tony G: {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {9-Clubs} {2-Clubs}
Vos: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {2-Diamonds}

Board: {4-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {6-Spades}

Thus Tony G is back in the game while Mark Vos is down to just 7,000. Looks like he might be paying €5,000 for his tiny third place trophy after all.

"The Worst Played Hand in the History of the World"

High Rollers:

Markus Golser raised from the button and Mark Vos called in the big blind. Onward to the flop.

Flop: {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts}

Vos checked, Golser bet 2,7000, Vos raised him to 8,000 and Golser called. They saw a turn.

Turn: {Q-Clubs}

Both players checked.

River: {3-Spades}

Vos checked, and Golser bet the pot. Vos folded. "That was the worst played hand in the history of the world," he lamented.

Further Woe for Tony G

High Rollers:

Mark Vos raised pot from the button and Tony G called in the big blind.

They checked it all the way down the {K-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {K-?} {J-Hearts} board until Vos bet 2,100 on the river. Tony G called, but mucked when Vos turned over {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {8-Clubs} {9-Spades} for the Broadway straight. Tony G is down to just 10,000.
