Joey Buhmann Eliminated in Seventh Place (€8,080)

Buhmann league
Buhmann league
Salvatore Cundari raised to 18,000 in early position, and Joey Buhmann pushed from the button for around 50- or 60,000. The blinds both passed quickly, and it didn't take Cundari long to call, as he had pocket aces.

Cundari: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Buhmann: {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}

Board: {8-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {6-Spades} (at this point they shook hands as Buhmann was drawing dead) {J-Diamonds}

Cundari grinned broadly and toothily as he raked in the pot, and we are down to six.

Borg Doubles Through Vos

Borg
Borg
Marc Naalden raised to 21,000 and Simon Borg pushed all in from the button for almost 80,000. An unexpected flat call from Mark Vos in the big blind, an eventual fold from Naalden, and they were on their backs.

Borg: {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Vos: {A-Diamonds} {10-Spades}

Board: a quad-tastic {4-Hearts} {5-Spades} {J-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {J-Spades}

Vos says he saw a very unhappy expression on Naalden's face when Borg pushed, and between that and the 21,000 that Naalden had already put in, he'd decided that he had the odds to call. "I'm tired," he qualified.

Vos Bleeds More Chips

The next hand Naalden raised to 21,000 again, and Mark Vos in the small blind was the sole caller. They saw a {9-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} flop, and Vos checked. Naalden stuck 30,000 in and Vos swiftly passed.

Vos on around 360,000.

Dinner Time

A mere two hours after the snack buffet appeared in the lobby, the dinner buffet has appeared in the restaurant, and our final tablists will be heading there for a 45 minute dinner break.
