Delaney In Control

After winning a huge pot with pocket kings against Jonathan Karamalikis, Ben Delaney is starting to take control of his table. He recently fired three barrels on a board of {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} in a battle of the blinds to force a fold from Karamalikis, before proceeding to three-bet over the top of the opening raises of Damien Elsing in consecutive hands. Elsing released each time, and Delaney now finds himself up over 30,000 in chips.

Hawker Doubles Through

Hawker: doubles through
Hawker: doubles through
Mat Hawker has doubled through Matt Savage after a recent hand on table 32.

Savage limped in preflop and the action folded around to Hawker who popped up to 1,200 from the big blind. Savage made the call and it was heads-up to the flop of {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Hawker opened for 1,200 and Savage called; Savage would then call Hawker's bet of 2,500 when the {4-Clubs} appeared on the turn.

However on the river {2-Diamonds} Hawker checked, Savage shoved all in, and Hawker went into the tank before eventually making the call. "Anything but a diamond on the river," he exclaimed as he rolled up {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a set.

The {2-Diamonds} appeared on the river, but Hawker had nothing to worry about as Savage had tabled {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a busted straight draw.

With that hand, Hawker doubles up to 22,500.

Dunst: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Elsing: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The board bricked out {7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the pair of Elsing holds to eliminate Dunst.

Savage Continues His Charge

Joel Dodds made it 750 to go before the flop and Ben Savage made the call to have both players see a flop of {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

Savage checked, Dodds opened for 900 and Savage raised to 2,500. Dodds made the call, then called Savage's bet of 3,500 on the turn of the {3-Clubs}.

Both players checked the river {10-Spades}; Savage rolled up {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and 'Strong Play' sent his hand into the muck.

Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis has started to get busy over the last few orbits, raising several pots in succession to chip up.

In a recent pot Damien Elsing opened to 700 from under the gun, with Ben Delaney and Karamalikis calling in position.

They took a flop of {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Elsing checked to Delaney who fired 1,500. Karamalikis then made it 5,000 to play and forced folds from both opponents.

He's up to 19,500 as the four online players are still alive on this table, with their only live opponent remaining being Clonie Gowen.

Gowen checked and Jordanou shipped all in for his last chips with Gowen insta-calling.

Gowen: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Jordanou: {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}

"Oh well, I have outs!" chuckled Jordanou, but they didn't arrive on the {9-Clubs} turn and {10-Hearts} river.

Hachem Eliminated

Savage: even to his Live team-mates!
Savage: even to his Live team-mates!
Tony Hachem has been amongst the latest casulaties in the PokerNetwork Live vs Online Invitational Shootout round.

On a flop reading {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Hachem led out for 1,600, only to see Ben Savage raise all in. Hachem called and tabled {K-?}{7-?}, but was trailing Savage's {K-?}{8-?}.

The turn and river ran out {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} - the eight kicker of Savage was still good to send his Live Team colleague to the rail.

Stead Eliminates Two

Kerry Stead on fire!
Kerry Stead on fire!
We caught the action on the flop of {Q-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{2-Hearts} in a five-way pot after Bruno Portaro had open-shipped from the small blind for all of his 3,375 chips.

The action folded to Trung Tran who went all in for around 11,000 as play against folded to Kerry Stead who also moved all in covering both players!

Portaro: {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Tran: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Stead: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

Portaro was on the flush draw, as Tran's top pair was in trouble against the flopped two pair of Stead. The turn and river ran out {9-Clubs}, {9-Diamonds} and Stead send two to the rail to climb to almost 30,000 chips.

Table 30 is now down to four players - two online and two live!
