Nathan Takes It to the Champ

In a hand just as the players were heading off for the first break of the day, Rayan Nathan limped in preflop before 2008 PokerNews Cup Main Event champion Nali 'Iraqi Nick' Kaselias raised it up to 400. The opponent in the big blind called, as did Nathan to see a flop of {3-Clubs}

The big blind and Nathan checked to Kaselias who fired out 650. The big blind folded but Nathan quickly threw out a raise of 2,350.

Kaselias looked uncomfortable at the speed of Nathan's bet - he went into the tank for about two minutes before letting his hand go into the muck.

Nathan is back up to 30,000 while Kaselias slips to 15,000 as the room clears for what the Aussies call 'smoko'.
