Jacek Pustula and Patrick Wolff Build Stacks

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante
Patrick Wolff
Patrick Wolff

In two consecutive hands, Patrick Wolff and Jacek Pustula were active and both won one each to boost their respective stacks. Wolff had started on the very same table and busted, but reentered and got drawn to the same table and different seat.

Hand 1:

Pustula raised to 1,600 from under the gun and picked up four callers. On the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop all checked. The small blind bet the {J-Spades} turn for 2,600 and Pustula called, as did Wolff. After the {K-Spades} river, the small blind checked and Pustula forced two folds by betting 7,500.

Hand 2:

Sandro Pitzanti raised and picked up several callers including Wolff in the hijack and Pustula in the big blind. The flop of {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} was checked to Wolff and he bet 10,000. Only Pitzanti called and checked again the {3-Hearts} turn. Wolff bet another 10,000 and was called before the very same action took place on the {8-Spades} river. Wolff showed {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a turned full house and scooped the pot.

Tippy333 Tames Walter Matura

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Tippy33 raised to 1,600 and the player from one seat over three-bet to 4,500. Walter Matura on the button four-bet to 15,000 and Tippy333 then asked "how much do you have?" while glancing at the stack of Matura. The Austrian had another 21,000 behind and Tippy333 then moved all in to force a fold from his table neighbor.

Matura called and it was a flip for a quite big pot at the current stage.

Matura: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Tippy333: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and the flush draw didn't complete for Matura, who can now decide whether to reenter Day 1c or wait half an hour and start fresh in Day 1d.

The Field Keeps Growing

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

The first two starting days gathered a total of 347 entries and that number is almost met by the field size of Day 1c alone, as the screens show 344 entries towards the middle of level six. Registration remains open until the end of level 11, and all players can take advantage of a single reentry if they run out of chips during that period.

Among those to join lately was David Taborsky, who has more than $300,000 in cashes according to the Hendon Mob and several results all over Europe.

Easy Going for Deniz Sinanmis

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

"When we got into the push or fold period, I lost a few all ins against short stacks," Deniz Sinanmis added. He was one of the bigger stacks for most of Day 1b before the run bad sent him to the rail. He is back in action today and almost doubled up his stack already. Will he be able to keep up the trend this time?

JohnXFleming1 Doubles Thanks to his Kicker

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Eric Nengerman defended his big blind against the raise of JohnXFleming1 and a pot of 8,000 emerged until the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} turn. Nengerman checked and JohnXFleming1 moved all in for his last 14,400 to receive a quick call.

JohnXFleming1: {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Nengerman: {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds} river was a blank and the kicker played to let JohnXFleming1 double up. "Good for me, but unlucky spot for you," he added before raking in the pot.
