On the heads-up flop of , Thai Minh Duc bet 7,000 and Karlheinz Maier raised to 30,000. Duc called and tabled his cards already without realizing that his opponent was not all in yet. The floor staff explained that Duc will continue to play the hand face up, which he understood, and then Maier moved all in for some more on top. Duc called and they tabled the cards.

The field is shrinking and only shows 122 out of 365 entries remaining. Pascal Brehm just avoided elimination with a big blind special and jumped above average stack.
Roman Tvrzník raised to 5,000 and was called three ways including Ismail Kalkan on the button. Brehm then moved all in out of the big blind and the action folded back to the cutoff, who shoved for slightly more. Kalkan asked for a count of Brehm's all in, which was determined to be 41,200, then folded.
