Jason Deutsch Nearly Felts Joe Cappello

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 400 ante
Joe Cappello nearly eliminated.
Joe Cappello nearly eliminated.

Joe Cappello opened to 9,000 preflop, Jaon Deutsch called and the flop came {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Cappollo bet 11,000, Deutsch called and the turn came {6-Clubs}. Cappello checked, Deutsch bet 20,000 and Cappello shoved.

Detusch snap-called with {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Cappello tabled {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The blanked for him when it fell {J-Spades} and Deutsch earned a full double up. Their stacks were very close and it took counting the stacks twice to make sure.

Hutter Torturing Fink

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

David Fink dropped a couple of pots to Barry Hutter that have left him significantly below his peak.

First, he paid off a river bet of 20,000 on an ace-high board and saw Hutter turn over {a-Spades}{8-Spades}, having made top pair on the turn. Then, Hutter opened to 7,000 under the gun and Fink defended his big blind. On a runout of {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, Hutter bet 8,000 on the flop, checked back the turn, and fired 14,000 on the river.

"You've got my number, dude," Fink said with a sigh as he mucked. "Can't beat you."

Players are on break for 15 minutes.

Kevin Saul Calls to See a Bluff Card, Jack Duong Complies

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Jason Deutsch took a hit to his stack.
Jason Deutsch took a hit to his stack.

A pot north of 220,000 caught our attention between Jason Deutsch and Jack Duong. The board was {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Duong was all in and Deutsch was in the tank.

After tanking Deutsch mucked his hand and Kevin Saul called for Duong to show the bluff.

"I want to see the {9-Hearts}," Saul said.

Duong turned one card face up - the {9-Hearts}.

"One Crack Deserves Another"

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Taylor Wilson
Taylor Wilson

Taylor Wilson and Muhammad Rahim just played a monster pot when the former limped in under the gun and the latter made a big raise out of the small blind. Wilson called a bet on the {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and a {10-Clubs} hit the turn. Rahim shoved all in for about 105,000 effective into the bloated pot of over 75,000, and Wilson called fairly quickly.

Rahim showed {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

"One crack deserves another," Wilson said, turning over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair.

The dealer burned and turned the {j-Clubs}, and Wilson doubled through in a monster pot.

Big Pot to Deutsch

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

In a three-bet pot, Jason Deutsch checked a {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop. A player bet 12,000 in middle position and got a caller on the button. Deutsch shoved all in for what looked to be 97,700, and the bettor folded. The player on the button tanked awhile, sighed, and folded the {a-Diamonds} face-up.
