The third and penultimate starting day of the 2017 PokerNews Cup Rozvadov €250 Main Event at the King's Casino attracted a field of 196 entries in total, of which 38 advanced to Day 2 to join the 33 survivors of the previous two flights. Bagging up the most chips after 15 levels of 30 minutes each was Germany's Markus Fritsche (422,500), followed by Gintautas Strioga (344,000) and Martin Kabrhel (328,000).
TonyBet online qualifier Dmytro Nesin (300,000) was among those to get through with a big stack as well, along with Bouabdellah Karoui (250,000), Onkel Otto (218,000) and Willem de Jong (200,000). Other notables through to Day 2 via the penultimate flight include Matous Skorepa (174,500), Karol Radomski (152,500) and 2017 World Series of Poker bracelet winner Sebastian Langrock (114,000).
Fritsche vaulted into the top spot in the second-last level of the night when he scored a big double with pocket jacks against the ace-ten of Asmo Votkin, who flopped top pair. Votkin busted soon after against Gintautas Strioga and the Norwegian made the headlines prior to that with two double eliminations within quick succession. First he sent Jiri Kotvas and Cenk Oguz to the rail with flopped set versus straight versus flush draw when pairing up on the turn, before his nines held up against the pocket threes of Petr Kotik and the ace-king of Elena Litvinyuk.
Martin Kabrhel registered late and busted on his first bullet, the second bullet lasted all but a few minutes before the third attempt was a charm. The Czech version of William Kassouf, well known for his very active approach of speech play, doubled through Marian Uharcek with ace-king versus ace-jack and took the remaining chips right after with queens versus ace-five.
Among those to take a shot and bust throughout the day were King's Casino regulars Magic Man 558 and chiKKita banAAna, Ronald Van De Linde,Petr Targa, Igor Salomasov, Milan Topoly, and Michal Riczak with three bullets. Many of them jumped right into Day 1d, which wraps up later tonight.
The PokerNews live reporting team will provide all the action from the floor along with the full chip counts and seat draw for Day 2 as of 1 p.m. local time on Sunday August 20th 2017.
Koycho Koychev raised to 15,000 and Onkel Otto called before Bouabdellah Karoui moved all in. Koychev called and Onkel Otto folded, then said in table chat he folded pocket jacks.

Bouabdellah Karoui:
The board came and Koycho banged on the table before heading to the rail.
Magic Man 558 moved all in from the button. Onur Kazgan was in the small blind and motioned to Magic Man to lift his arm and reveal his stack. It was then that Kazgan realised that Magic Man was all in for just 10,000. Kazgan called as did Nerijus Luksa in the big blind.
The pair checked down the flop and Magic Man showed for ace-high and got to his feet. However, neither Luksa nor Kazgan felt like they wanted to show their cards. Despite Magic Man insisting it wasn't necessary, the dealer turned over Luksa's and Kazgan's .
Magic Man raked in the chips, grumbling as he did so in German that he was winning chips in boring pots like that and not big splashy ones from earlier in the tournament.
We didn't see exactly how Martin Kabrhel got his money into the middle (but then again with Kabrhel, anything is possible), but he just scored a huge doubled up against Marian Uharcek.
Uharcek held and Kabrhel .
The board ran out and Kabrhel's stack of 142,000 doubled to just under 300,000.
Kabrhel then beat Uharcek in a pot shortly after when Kabrhel's beat Uharcek's . He's now well over 300,000.
There was plenty of action on the table of Johan Groot, Willem de Jong and Ronald Van De Linde.
In a three-way pot to the , Ali-BabaSVK folded from the button after a bet of 11,600 by Vadim Taller in the small blind and a call by Groot in the big blind. The fell on the river and Taller bet 26,600. Groot raised big, making it 86,000 to go, and that forced a fold.
Groot was relieved and flashed .
Soon after, Taller raised to 6,500 and Van De Linde shoved for 26,700. Ali-BabaSVK moved in over the top and that forced out Taller.
Ronald Van De Linde:

After a board of , the Dutchman was gone and will likely be back in Day 1d.
On the three-way flop of , Gintautas Strioga bet 15,000 and Jiri Kotvas moved all in for 25,400 from one seat over. Cenk Oguz moved all in over the top and Strioga quickly called.
Jiri Kotvas:
Cenk Oguz:
Gintautas Strioga:
The on the turn immediately left both opponents drawing dead, making the river a formality. Strioga's stack skyrocketed up and the Lithuanian took the top spot.
A short stack was all in with and found action behind with Sarunas Linkius and Bertram Bechtold. Linkius was in prime position to score a double knockout, holding , while Bechtold had . The board came and the German got there to knock out the short stack and double through Linkius for 53,600.
Karol Radomski was all in and at risk for his last 16,600 on a flop of and was called by Gintautas Strioga only while a third player in the hand folded.
Radomski had for the flopped straight and Strioga the . The turn and river improved the Lithuanian to a full house and Radomski headed straight to the cashier to purchase the re-entry.
