Bogdanov called with jacks and he was up against the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Namvar.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Namvar is in the rail.

Huge Call for the Split

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A very interesting hand just unfolded in front of our eyes in the High Roller event. Matey Sidiki raised from the hijack to 2,500 and Georgios Terzopoulos didn't see his opponents raise and he raised for himself to 5,000. He then realized that there has been a bet already in the hand but he couldn't take it back since it is absolutely fine to raise from 2,500 to 5,000.

The table laughed and the action folded to Sidiki who raised to 15,000, causing a snap-call from Terzopoulos.

The flop brought {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and both players checked.

The {6-Hearts} came on the turn and Sidiki check-called 10,000 that Terzopoulos bet. The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Sidiki checked for the third time, while Terzopoulos announced all in for more than 80,000! Sidiki thought about it for almost five minutes before putting all his stack in the middle.

Terzopoulos opened queens and Sidiki was relieved to see that his aces didn't lose.

The Battle of the High Cards

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Dimitrios Gkikoulis and Georgios Efthimiadis started a battle from earlier today and in both hands we saw they had high cards and no connection to the board.

At first, Efthimiadis was the winner when he called his opponent's check-raise on the flop and bet the turn to take down the pot. The board was reading {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} and Efthimiadis showed jack-ten while Gkikoulis proved that he had nothing more than jack-high himself with jack-eight.

This time Gkikoulis defended from the big blind, after Efthimiadis raised preflop acting first. The flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Gkikoulis check-called for 2,200.

The turn was the {j-Spades} and Gkikoulis check-called again, for 4,400 this time.

The {2-Spades} came on the river and both players checked with Gkikoulis scooping the pot with ace-queen, which means that they both had again just a high card, since Efthimiadis mucked.

Break

Level 3 : 300/600, 600 ante

Time for the first break of the day, players will be back in 15 minutes.

Three Barrel for Koutoupas

Level 3 : 300/600, 600 ante

Sotirios Koutoupas was on the button and he was against Matey Sidiki from the big blind. Koutoupas bet three times, 2,300, 5,000 and 25,000, respectively, with Sidiki calling only two of them and folding on the river.

The board read {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Koutoupas let his opponent pick one of his cards to see. The card Sidiki picked was the {3-Hearts} and he was disappointed thinking that he was bluffed but Koutoupas showed him the other card too, which was the {k-Hearts} giving him trips.

Another Sick Runout

Level 3 : 300/600, 600 ante

Themistoklis Tsokas just lost a big chunk of his stack in a situation where he had 99.7% to win on the flop!

He was holding queen-jack and the flop came {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Unfortunately for him, his opponent was holding {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and turn and river were {9-Diamonds} and {9-Clubs}, respectively, completing a sick bad beat for the Greek player.

Dejan Stanev was the player who had quads and he gave a nice boost to his stack.
