Dinner Break

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Players will have 30 minutes to eat and clear their minds for the big battle of the final table bubble. We'll be back soon.

Krastanov Left the Field at Ten Players

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Momchil Krastanov was short for a long time and he was found all in against Dimitrios Michailidis who was covering him.

Krastanov: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Michailidis: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The board came {10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Krastanov departed in 11th place, good enough to earn him a min-cash of €2,050.

All remaining players have reached the first pay-jump and they secured €2,550.

Two Quick Eliminations in the Money

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The first two players that managed to min-cash in the High Roller are Ivan Ivanov and Spyridon Michailidis. Ivan Ivanov busted right after the bubble burst and we missed him, but we caught the bustout hand of Spyridon Michailidis.

He open shoved for 250,000 from early position and two seats on his left was Loukas Kioutsoukis who called him. Michailidis' hand was {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Kioutsoukis had {a-Spades}{j-Spades} with the board coming {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} sending Michailidis to the rail.

Sotirios Koutoupas is the Bubble Boy of the High Roller

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A couple of hands into hand-for-hand and with four players around 10 big blinds it was expected for the bubble to break quickly.

Sotirios Koutoupas is the unlucky player who left empty-handed and sent all the remaining players in the money. Koutoupas shove from early position for 12 big blinds and Andreas Halkiadakis answered with his own shove from the button. Halkiadakis covered Koutoupas and the players opened their hands:

Koutoupas: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Halkiadakis: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The flop was devastating for Koutoupas as {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} gave a full house to Halkiadakis and Koutoupas needed a miracle to stay alive. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {7-Hearts} on the river was mostly a formality and the successful Greek player left his seat.

Money Bubble

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Dimitrios Michailidis was on the cut-off and he open shoved, having three short stacks to act after him. He was covering all players and only Ivaylo Yordanov called from the small blind.

Michailidis: {j-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Yordanov: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The board came {3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Yordanov was eliminated in 15th place.

This means that 14 players are left for the High Roller and we are officially in the money bubble. The two tables will play hand-for-hand until one player busts.

After bubble bursts, they will play until there nine players left, forming the final table of the event.

Nice Life for Tzakos

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

This is the feeling you have when you pick up aces and one of your opponents has ace-king. Now double this feeling, because in this situation, two of Tzakos' opponents had ace-king in his aces!

The three players put all their chips in the middle and their hands were:

Konstantin Aykov: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Ivaylo Yordanov: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Marios Tzakos: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} and Tzakos won a very crucial pot, while Aykov busted and Yordanov left short.

Second Time is the Charm for Stryvakis

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Polykarpos Stryvakis had again a big hand versus Andrey Gabrovski. This time Gabrovski shove from the cut-off for 252,000, and Stryvakis called from the button.

The blinds folded and Stryvakis was way ahead with aces versus Gabrovski's sevens.

The board was {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} and Gabrovski busted, while Stryvakis keeps on growing his stack.
