Mehrotra Flops Top Pair

Calum Grant

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sanat Mehrotra opened to 4,500 and Bert Geens called from the small blind.

Geens check-called for 3,000 and 14,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read K♠3♣2♥K♠10♣6♠.

Both players checked on the river. Geens tabled pocket eights but it was no good against his opponent's K♥Q♦.
