Levine Sets the Trap

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The early position player opened to 4,000 and Jordan Levine called on his direct left. Vid Zagar then made it 15,500 from the cutoff. Action folded back to the original raiser, who called. Levine then raised to 92,500, leaving 500 behind.

Zagar thought it over for a few minutes before folding. The early position player then went into the tank himself which prompted David Oppenheim to call the clock. As the TD approached the table to begin the countdown, the early position player committed the 32,500 he had left behind.

Opponent: KQ
Jordan Levine: AA

Levine scooped in the big pot after his aces were never troubled following the 109484 runout.

Tides Turn in Moon's Favor

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Dongwuk Moon opened to 5,000 before the small blind jammed for 28,500. Moon wasn't too thrilled at the situation but made the call.

Small Blind: K10
Dongwuk Moon: 98

The small blind was ahead and remained in front after pairing up on the A102 flop. The small blind called for a seven to give Moon a sweat but the 6 turn peeled off instead to give Moon a gutshot straight draw.

A seven would now give Moon the straight and the small blind tried to rescind his previous statement. However, the 7 river completed the board to give Moon the winner.

There were smiles and laughs all around throughout the hand with many "wows," being uttered when the cards went on their back.

"You're a legend, you have to call," said a tablemate after the hand.
