Rocco Leaves Palumbo Nearly Felted

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Rocco bet 48,000 from under the gun into two opponents, and only Rocco Palumbo (button) called on the {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. Rocco thought awhile and checked the {5-Hearts} turn. Palumbo shoved all in and Rocco called off immediately.

Rocco: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Palumbo: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Palumbo was looking for a spade or a queen, and it was a {k-Hearts} instead on the river. Stacks were counted down. Rocco had 225,000, and Palumbo had him slightly covered.

Davidi Kitai Eliminated in 17th Place ($54,540)

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Bryn Kenney raised to 23,000 on the button and called the shove of Davidi Kitai, who had about 80,000 in the small blind.

Kitai: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Kenney: {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Kenney had lives and grabbed a pair as {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flopped. He still had a ton of cards to fade, but that changed with the {9-Spades} turn as he improved to trips. The {10-Diamonds} river gave him a boat to boot.

Mustapha Kanit Eliminated in 18th Place ($49,080)

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit, Nacho Barbero

Nick Petrangelo raised to 20,000 and Mustapha Kanit moved all in for 139,000. Petrangelo called.

Petrangelo: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Kanit: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

In a classic race, Petrangelo pulled ahead when the flop came {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and the river was the {6-Clubs}, which was of no help to Kanit, sending him home in 18th place.

Kaverman: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Reixach: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Kaverman held as it ran out {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

"Good game," Reixach said.

Greenwood Bombs the Turn

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Sam Greenwood and Sergio Aido played a pot for the minimum in the blinds. Greenwood made a small bet on the {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop then bombed out 102,000 into about 45,000 on the {5-Spades} turn. Aido called. The river was an {8-Diamonds} and Greenwood came out firing big again with 150,000. Aido tanked about five minutes into the next level. He finally folded.

Kenney asked about the hand history, confused as to the pot size since it was a limped pot.

"That was a fun one," Greenwood said.

"Not for him," Kenny said, getting a round of laughs.

Timothy Adams opened to 18,000 and called the shove of big blind Orpen Kisacikoglu, who had about 150,000.

Adams: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Kisacikoglu: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Kisocikoglu totally missed the {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop but a {j-Hearts} gave him more outs. The river was a brick: {8-Hearts}.

Shyam Srinivasan Eliminated in 21st Place ($45,180)

Shyam Srinivasan
Shyam Srinivasan

Mark Radoja raised to 18,000 from under the gun and Shyam Srinivasan three-bet to 48,000 from early position.

Action folded back around to Radoja who moved all in. Srinivasan called.

Radoja: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Srinivasan: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Srinivasan was behind and needed one of the two remaining queens in the deck to stay alive.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}, which was of no help to Srinivasan. He was sent home in 21st place.
