Kanit's Brain Can Do It

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mustapha Kanit has put Sam Greenwood into the cage right in the middle of a game of 'Who's the Brain?'

If you're not aware of how to play 'Who's the Brain?' it's an extended version of the famous Johnny Lodden game and involves players guessing what one particular player would believe is an answer to a question, then other players speculate on what the player who is answering the question thinks.

In this particular level, Mustapha Kanit was the 'brain' and while others deliberated on how much money it would cost to have a head shaved for two years, Kanit was involved in a big hand. It had built to a river clash with Sam Greenwood on a board of {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} . Greenwood, having invested half of a pot worth over 100,000 to that point, checked to Kanit. Kanit did no such thing, shoving all-in for way more than the 120,00 Greenwood had left.

Eventually, Greenwood folded and Kanit won the pot, yelping "Yes! First bluff of the year!"

He then told the players gathered around his table his answer, to peals of shock and "No way!" Both at the table and away from it, Kanit is costing his opponents money.

Bonomo Sends Drinan Out

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Justin Bonomo raised from the button and was shoved on by the big blind. Bonomo called it off and showed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and he was slightly ahead of {J-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Across the {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board, he stayed ahead. Bonomo is right up there with the leaders now.

Kurganov Eliminated

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Igor Kurganov got it in before the flop with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} up against the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} of Oleksii Khoroshenin.

"Come on! First suck out of the year," Kurganov instructed the dealer.

It would not come, as the board ran out {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

He had just a tiny bit left and was all in blind the next hand. He lost his chips with ten-six to Vladimir Troyanovskiy's flopped trips and hit the rail for the second time today.

Greenwood Busts Koon

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Jason Koon, who won the $100,000 Super High Roller for $1,650,300 yesterday, has just been eliminated from this $50,000 Single-Day High Roller.

Koon shoved has last 24,800 in with {9-Spades}{10-Spades} and found a caller in small blind Sam Greenwood who turned over {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Koon exited.

Koon left his bag at the table as he was buying back in and was almost certainly he would draw the same table as it was the only one with open seats.
