Aghayev Eliminated By Grafton

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Sam Grafton opened to 38,000 on the button, Emin Aghayev shoved around 160,000 from the small blind, and Grafton snap-called.

Emin Aghayev: {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Sam Grafton: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

On an {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board, Grafton had the best of it from start to finish and Aghayev's run ended in 42nd (€22,150).

"Straight Flush! Yes!"

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We heard an all in and a call at a nearby table, and Quan Zhou was soon celebrating.

"Straight flush!" he cried, pumping his fist. "Yes!"

The board had come {9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Zhou had gotten it in at some point from the big blind with {8-Spades}{7-Spades}, likely on the flop when Julian Stuer and his {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} were good for top pair. The German hit the rail and sent Zhou his stack.

Jack-Seven in a Four-Bet Pot

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jens Lakemeier had what appeared to be a three-bet to 72,000 in front of him in middle position and was facing a four-bet to 131,000 from Joaquin Walter, who had the button. Lakemeier called and they saw a {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. The German online crusher called 55,000 and then they checked through the {5-Hearts} and {9-Clubs}.

Lakemeier showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} but lost the showdown to {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Roumeliotis Falls To Durnegger

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

It's been one of the best days at the tables of Markus Durnegger's poker career, who scored another prized scalp by eliminating online phenom Alexander "Sussie Smith" Roumeliotis. Durnegger had raised in early position and called off Roumeliotis' shove for around 250,000.

Markus Durnegger: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Alexander Roumeliotis: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The best hand held up on {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}, ending Roumeliotis' run in 46th place (€22,150).

Six-Ball On The River Crushes Chaudey

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jakub Michalak open-shoved from late position and Christopher Chaudey called all in for 212,000 from the big blind.

Jakub Michalak: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Christopher Chaudey: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

Michalak had Chaudey barely covered and was risking a large portion of his stack. The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Michalak hit his six on the river to cripple Chaudey.

Lewis Triples in Beautiful Spot

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Joaquin Walter opened early to 27,000, and Toby Lewis shoved in middle position for 188,000. Pascal Hartmann got the count and jammed on the button for more. Walter used a time extension and called.

Walter: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Lewis: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Hartmann: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Lewis was in great shape to triple up and did just that as an {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board hit the felt.

Cody Eliminates Engel

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ari Engel
Ari Engel

Jake Cody opened for 31,000 in the hijack and called the all-in shove of big blind Ari Engel. Except, it wasn't a shove and Cody quickly recovered his cards when he realized Engel still had 4,000 behind the 242,000 he'd put in. Engel put the rest in on the {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop and Cody called.

Engel: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Cody: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

"Ten would be nice," Engel urged.

No such luck. A {6-Spades} and {9-Spades} later, the renowned grinder was sent to payouts.
