Prado Doubles

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We picked up the action on a flop of {J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} as big blind Arezki Belaidi checked. Martin Prado, presumably the initial raiser, bet 25,000 and Albert Daher (cutoff) called, Belaidi folded.

Martin Prado shoved all in for exactly 100,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn. Daher reluctantly called with {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} ans soon got the news he was behind as Prado tabled {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The river {A-Spades} even made Prado 2 pair and he doubled up.

Three More Down the Drain

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Maksim Prokhorov got his last 18 big blinds in from early position with pocket tens and Alex Difelice had an easy call in the big blind with pocket kings. There was no upset on the board and Prokhorov joined the rail. He was soon joined there by Jan Cvach and Tonny Krijn and there are just 95 players remaining.

Lopez Busts in Three-Way All In; Bouziane Follows

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Carlos Lopez was all in for 139,000 and Alexandros Papadopoulos looked him up before Rens Feenstra got his stack of 187,000 in from one seat over, which Papadopoulos also called.

Carlos Lopez: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Rens Feenstra: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Alexandros Papadopoulos: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to give Feenstra a full house and Lopez was sent to the rail.

Only a moment later the next player was at risk in Christophe Bouziane for 109,000, and he tabled {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Kyle Bowker had him covered and took the flip with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. Bouziane was ahead until the river of a board {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and became the next casualty.

Govert Metaal Eliminated

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We missed the hand, but Govert Metaal has been eliminated. His former neighbor Akin Tuna told us that he had a set of tens up against what would eventually become a flush. Metaal out, just cracking the top 100 in this massive event.

"Such a Sexy Hand!"

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Hedley shoved from the cutoff for 118,000 total. Big blind Daniel Smiljkovic thought about it for a bit before he called.

Andrew Hedley: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Daniel Smiljkovic; {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

"Such a sexy hand!" Hedley said about his queen-ten.

And sexy it was, as the flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} helping Hedley in front. The {K-Hearts} on the turn and {4-Diamonds} on the river were blanks and Hedley doubled.

Vousden Rivers Veiga

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Out of the big blind, Samuel Vousden was all in and at risk for 318,000 and Diogo Veiga looked him up from the button.

Samuel Vousden: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Diogo Veiga: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and {K-Clubs} turn changed nothing whatsoever, but the Finn got there thanks to a miracle {2-Diamonds} river to double. "Did you see that?" Vousden said to Patrick Leonard, who had just walked over to his table.

Morozovs Busts Gilbert

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

James Gilbert lost half of his stack in a hand against Albert Daher. Daher had made a straight with jack-ten and Gilbert paid him off. Not much later, he lost the remainder of his stack to his neighbor Mihails Morozovs.

Action folded to Gilbert in the small blind and he pushed for 140,000. Big blind Morozovs called.

James Gilbert: {8-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Mihails Morozovs: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Gilbert hit the rail.

Doroshev and Peters Double

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The pocket nines of Florian-Dimitrie Duta were already in the muck when he paid off Heorhii Doroshev's {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} after a board of {Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Doroshev doubled for 302,000 and that halved the stack of Duta.

Another player to double after the dinner break was Erik Peters. The Dutchman limped in from the small blind and Jonathan Proudfoot simply moved all in. Peters counted his stack and said "okay, I call."

Erik Peters: {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Jonathan Proudfoot: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The board of {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} provided both overcards and Peters doubled.

Nadia Wanzi

Action folded to Asi Moshe in the cutoff and he shoved for 215,000. Her neighbor, Nadia Wanzi, pondered for a bit, said "21 big blinds, huh?" and called. Both blinds quickly released.

Asi Moshe: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Nadia Wanzi: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {6-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Moshe hit the rail.

Nikolaev and Baena Eliminated

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The next two casualties after the dinner break are Pavel Nikolaev and Leoonardo Baena. The latter three-bet all in for nine big blinds and Benjamin Richardson as initial raiser called.

Leoonardo Baena: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Benjamin Richardson: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The board came {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Richardson got there to send Baena to the rail.
