Geeng Doubles Big Through Kozlov

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Daniel Geeng
Daniel Geeng

On a flop of {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Daniel Geeng and Martin Kozlov went at it with a raising war and the former ended up all in and at risk for 75,500. "We have a last longer bet on who busts first," Geeng said, pointing to Kozlov, and the American was ahead in the showdown.

Daniel Geeng: {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Martin Kozlov: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The {K-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river changed nothing whatsoever, and Kozlov was left short.

Zhou Busts to Greenwood with a Big Bang

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Sam Greenwood three-bet out of the blinds and Quan Zhou called. On the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Greenwood bet 8,000 and Zhou called before the {Q-Clubs} on the turn saw a check by Greenwood and a bet by Zhou for 30,000. Greenwood called, then checked again the {J-Diamonds} on the river.

Zhou, hiding his face entirely behind a black hoodie, announced all in and Greenwood snap-called.

Zhou tried to muck his cards when Greenwood flashed {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Spades}, and only revealed the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} while the fourth card went into the muck.

Collado Busts to Kozlov

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Jan Collado
Jan Collado

Martin Kozlov raised from the button and Jan Collado called in the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, the fireworks started and Collado check-raised, then called the shove of Kozlov with both players at almost even stacks.

Jan Collado: {A-}{6-}{2-}{2-}
Martin Kozlov: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The {J-Clubs} on the turn gave Kozlov the better hand and Collado was drawing to the last deuce in the deck to avoid elimination. Instead, it was the {5-Clubs} and that sent Collado to the rail.

Derwiche Gone; Haxton Takes from Zhou

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Imad Derwiche is no longer in the tournament, reducing the field to the last 18 hopefuls, and Isaac Haxton just took a big pot off Quan Zhou.

After a bet, raise and call on the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, Haxton checked the {9-Hearts} turn out of the small blind and Zhou bet 17,000 into a pot of 54,000. Haxton called and the {A-Hearts} fell on the river. Haxton was to act, but Zhou was all smiles and moved his hands to get his opponent into moving all in.

Haxton did just that for around 27,000 and Zhou laughed, then sat back. After one minute, he folded and Haxton said "good fold," flashing {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} for a full house.

Shuts Doubles Through Collado

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

In a battle button versus small blind, Maksim Shuts got the remainder of his short stack in preflop for 27,800 and Jan Collado looked him up from one seat over in the small blind.

Maksim Shuts: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Jan Collado: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop kept Collado in the lead and some outs for Shuts were gone. But suddenly, the {K-Hearts} appeared on the turn to magically turn the tides in favor of Shuts. The {8-Hearts} river was a blank and Collado lost one third of his stack.

Derwiche and Wang Double

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Imad Derwiche
Imad Derwiche

Imad Derwiche raised from under the gun and then called all in for his last 10,000 after Quan Zhou had three-bet the big blind.

Imad Derwiche: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Quan Zhou: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The board came {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Derwiche scored a fortunate double.

Michael Song was less fortunate and has been eliminated recently.

One table over, David Wang got his last 21,300 into the middle of the table on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Hongjun Zhao looked him up with the superior stack.

David Wang: {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Hongjun Zhao: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {4-Spades} turn and {8-Diamonds} river changed nothing anymore and Wang's flopped straight held up.
