Sfez Busts in Spectacular Fasion

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

Romain Lewis raised to 1,700 and Eric Sfez three-bet to 5,200 on the button. Antoine Saout four-bet to 13,300 from the small blind and Lewis quickly folded, while Sfez called. On the {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Saout was about to bet 7,600 but the chips were not pushed forward yet, while Sfez had already announced his all in.

"I call, I was gonna make a small bet but I call his all in," Saout clearly said to the dealer and Sfez's shove for 38,000 stood, as did the call.

Eric Sfez: {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Antoine Saout: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

The {Q-Diamonds} turn and {J-Spades} river were both blanks and Sfez headed to the rail. He was joined there by Jonas Lauck, who got it in with {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} against the {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} of Helio Neves on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} turn. The {5-Spades} river was a blank and Lauck was gone on bullet number one.

Muehloecker Gifted a Massive Stack

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

At the end of the previous level, Thomas Muehloecker faced a raise to 1,800 by Xixiang Luo and three-bet to 6,000, then called the four-bet to 15,200 by Luo. The latter bet the {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop for 11,600 and was called before check-shoving the {J-Spades} turn to a bet of 18,500 by Muehloecker. The Austrian quickly called and Luo was drawing dead once both players revealed their cards.

Xixiang Luo: {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades} on the river was a mere formality and the stacks were briefly counted, but Muehloecker had Luo covered and sent the Chinese to the rail for the second time in this event.

No More Aggression

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

At the end of the previous level, Koray Aldemir raised to 1,800 in early position, Michal Ozimek three-bet to 5,700 behind him, Ludovic Geilich cold-called from the big blind and Aldemir called as well.

Although three very aggressive players were in the hand, nobody put any money in on the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. On the {10-Clubs} turn, Ozimek bet 8,000 and both Geilich and Aldemir quickly folded.

Riess Knocks Out Zhou

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou was all in for his last few chips, with Kristen Bicknell and Ryan Riess also active in the hand. On an {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board, Riess bet Bicknell out of the hand and revealed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for the nut flush to send Zhou to the rail. It was Zhou's second bullet and he is eliminated.

Rudoy No More

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Daniel Tang's {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} were still tabled while Mikhail Rudoy also flashed a seven but failed to beat the full house of Tang on the river of a baord {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. Rudoy may be back for more action though, as it was his first bullet, while Tang has just above the starting stack right now.

Muehloecker From Hero to Almost Zero

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Saar Wilf and Thomas Muehloecker
Saar Wilf and Thomas Muehloecker

It remains unclear when exactly the money got in, but Thomas Muehloecker, who had a massive stack not long ago, has half a starting stack left. The Austrian previously lost some chips already and just now got into a three-way all in showdown with Saar Wilf and Viliyan Petleshkov.

Wilf had the nut flush draw with {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} against the flopped flush of Petleshkov with {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the bottom set of Muehloecker with {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} on a board of {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Wilf spiked the nut flush on the river and Muehloecker ended up with the third best hand to first pay off Wilf's triple up for 54,600 before also sending over 45,700 to Petleshkov.
