Aido Busts [Removed:529]

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

[Removed:528] was all in and at risk preflop with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and big stack Sergio Aido from one seat over looked him up with the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

The board came {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and Aido turned an eight to send [Removed:529] packing. "The rich get richer," someone on the table mentioned and Aido is indeed one of the richest in chips in the room right now with more than three times the starting stack.

Kerignard Gets Value from Beresford

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

On the heads-up flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Spades}, Yorane Kerignard checked in the hijack and Conor Beresford bet 3,700 on the button, which Kerignard called. Both players opted to check the {2-Clubs} turn before Kerignard bet the {7-Clubs} river for 10,300. Beresford called and was shown {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for top two by the Frenchman, which was good enough to win the pot for Kerignard.

Updated Counts

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

Alexander Timman has reentered.

"Show Me If I Fold?"

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

On a completed {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades} board, Artan Dedusha had 15,000 in front of him, a substantial size of the pot, and Jimmy Guerrero was in the tank.

"Show me if I fold?" he asked Dedusha, who didn't respond. Guerrero used one of his time bank chips to give himself more room for thought.

"Show me if I fold?" Guerrero angrily asked again, not accepting Dedusha's earlier silence. This time, Dedusha responded.

"Maybe," he quipped.

Seconds after, Guerrero flicked in the call. Dedusha tabled {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for trip jacks and the Frenchman mucked.

Aido Doubles Through Thorel

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

The cards of Jean-Noel Thorel were already in the muck while Sergio Aido was busy stacking his chips, the cards still visible with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a set on the board of {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Aido was kind enough to provide the details of what happened, as his double was to more than two times the current average.

According to Aido, a raise was followed by four callers and the flop brought a bet of 5,000 by Thorel and a call by [Removed:528] from one seat over. Aido raised to 20,000 and Thorel was the only caller before check-calling the shove of the Spaniard on the turn with {A-}{Q-} for top two pair. The river blanked and that cut Thorel's stack into half.

Guilbert Doubles Through Kolev

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

Boris Kolev was the chipleader not long ago but has found himself on a downward slope for a while. Johan Guilbert became the latest to take some of Kolev's chips.

It was a three-bet pot with action on Guilbert in the big blind. On a {3-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop, the Frenchman bet 2,600, Kolev raised to 8,000, Guilbert shoved 25,000 and Kolev snap-called.

Johan Guilbert: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Boris Kolev: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Kolev had way less outs than anticipated and needed one of the non-diamond straight cards to win. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river the {2-Diamonds} to hand Guilbert the double-up.
