Sow Rocketing Upward

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Kalidou Sow appears to be contending for the chip lead with a strong Day 2. He just faced a bet of 11,000 out of the player from the small blind on a board of {7-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. From the cutoff, Sow made it 28,000 to go. His opponent quickly called and Sow revealed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for tens full.

Wheeler and Moshe Play Massive Pot

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

Jason Wheeler was in the big blind and he and cutoff Asi Moshe appeared to put in around 15,000 each preflop. Wheeler bet 17,000 on a {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and Moshe called. Wheeler checked the {4-Diamonds} turn and Moshe bet 33,500. Wheeler's turn to call, and the river was the {7-Spades}. Both players checked.

Wheeler opened {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} for top boat and Moshe chuckled and shook his head. He flashed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush on the turn.

"You chase, you're gonna get punished," Wheeler said. "You're lucky I didn't bet river."

Garcia Triples With Aces Versus Queens Versus Tens

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

When we arrived, Oleh Haisiuk had 15,700 in front of him, his neighbor Cesar Garcia was all in for 62,800, and Daniel Barriocanal behind them was all in having both players covered.

The decision was on Haisiuk to call for his tournament life, or fold. Eventually, he called for 89,800 total.

Oleh Haisiuk: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Cesar Garcia: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Daniel Barriocanal: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out an uneventful {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Garcia tripled while Haisuk was eliminated. Barriocanal lost the main pot, won the small side pot, and still had heaps to play with.

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Chris Dowling
Chris Dowling

After a raise to 4,500 by Assaf Ben Yosef, Chris Dowling shoved his short stack in with the {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Ben Yosef looked him up with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The classic coin flip saw Dowling ahead until the river of a board {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and Ben Yosef got there to eliminate the Irishman.

Ben Yosef is now only trailing Fidan Zahiti's even bigger stack at the very same table.
