Cooler Favors Cimbolas

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Matas Cimbolas
Matas Cimbolas

Matas Cimbolas had a bet of 20,000 in front of him in the cutoff when we got to his table and was facing a check-raise to 47,000. The board read {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, and Cimbolas' neighbor, Marco Regonaschi, had put in the raise. Cimbolas told the dealer he was all in and Regonaschi called in short order.

Regonaschi: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Cimbolas: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The turn was a {j-Diamonds} and the river a {2-Clubs}, changing nothing. Cimbolas had 99,300 and collected a full double with his straight.

Muehloecker Versus Moshe

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

When we arrived, the flop of {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} was already out and the big blind and Thomas Muehloecker (middle position) had already checked. Asi Moshe bet 9,500 from the hijack and the big blind folded. Muehloecker called.

The {2-Hearts} on the turn saw Muehloecker check again. Moshe bet 12,500 and Muehloecker called.

Both players checked the {K-Hearts} on the river and Muehloecker showed a winner with {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}, Moshe mucked.

Martino Doubles Through Ben Yosef

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Joining the action on the {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} turn, Fiodor Martino checked out of the big blind and Assaf Ben Yosef bet 7,200 on the button. Martino check-raised all in for 33,000 and Ben Yosef reluctantly called.

Fiodor Martino: {J-Spades}{2-Spades}
Assaf Ben Yosef: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

A ten and a ten only could bust Martino, but the {7-Clubs} on the river was a blank for Ben Yosef, who lost around one fourth of his stack.

Aldemir Over Darie

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Vlad Darie defended his big blind from a raise by Koray Aldemir and the flop came {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Darie checked and then called 4,000 into the pot of about 13,000. Both checked the {9-Diamonds} and the {8-Diamonds} made the board both paired and four-flushed. Darie checked and folded to 13,600.

Badziakouski on Fire

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Mikita Badziakouski had 10 big blinds a little awhile ago and is now sitting with one of the healthiest stacks in the room. He just busted Luca Moschitta when Moschitta checked a completed board of {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Badziakouski jammed. It was about 63,000 effective and Moschitta thought awhile before throwing in a couple of chips.

Badziakouski showed {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a set and Moschitta sighed and mucked {a-Spades}{3-Spades} face-up.

Blasi Bows Out to Konnikova

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Maria Konnikova
Maria Konnikova

Picking up the action on the {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop, Micky Blasi bet 4,500 and Maria Konnikova raised to 16,000 from one seat over in late position. Nobody else was in the hand and Blasi then shoved for around 35,000 to see Konnikova quickly call.

Micky Blasi: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Maria Konnikova: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {K-Spades} turn and {7-Diamonds} river were both blanks and Blasi was done for the day. "5,700?" Sebastian Langrock asked Konnikova, referring to how few chips the Friend of PokerStars had earlier in the day. "Something like that, I was down to three and a half big blinds," Konnikova replied and now sits at a far more comfortable stack.

Heidorn Wins Small Pot Off Toma

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Tsugunari Toma still appears to be the chip leader or near the top of the leader board towards the end of the fourth level of the day. Toma just raised to 4,500 on the button and was called by Robert Heidorn in the big blind. The German, who now calls the UK his home, check-called a bet of 6,000 on the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop before both checked the {J-Clubs} turn and {7-Spades} river.

Heidorn showed {K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the pair of fives won the pot.
