An amazing week at the PokerStars Championship Monte-Carlo has come to an end for Daniel Dvoress. The Canadian finished 3rd in the €100,000 Super High Roller (€832,800), 2nd in the €50,000 High Roller (€652,000) and 7th in the €25,500 Single-Day High Roller (€100,000).

Dvoress added another €50,400 on top of that by finishing 21st in this tournament. In his final hand, Dvoress raised to 152,000 on the button and left himself with 15,000 behind. Sylvain Loosli reshoved from the big blind and Dvoress tank-called his remaining 15,000 off.

In a battle of the blinds, Julian Stuer raised and then bet the {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop against John Juanda. The latter called and faced an overbet on the {4-Diamonds} turn worth 162,000, which Juanda again called. After the {K-Spades} river, Stuer moved all in and Juanda folded while shaking his head.

Julian Thomas limped in from the small blind and Charlie Carrel checked in the big blind. Thomas check-called a bet of {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop for 16,000 and did so again for 40,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn. Thomas then checked the {K-Hearts} on the river and Carrel bet 110,000, before immediately facing the check-raise all in of Thomas.

"Are you bluffing me?" Carrel asked and sent his cards into the muck before his shot clock ran down to zero.
