Diamonds are Ferioli's Best Friend

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Isaac Haxton raised to 2,600 from under the gun and Jeff Hakim called, as did Julian Feriolo from one seat over. The small blind also came along and the flop fell {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The small blind checked and subsequently folded, while Haxton continued for 3,300. Both Hakim and Ferioli called and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn saw a check by Haxton, a bet of 13,500 by Hakim and a call by Feriolo.

Haxton got out of the way and that brought the {Q-Diamonds} on the river for the two remaining players. Hakim checked and Feriolo bet 18,000.

"Do you have diamonds?" Hakim eventually asked and then called half a minute later. Feriolo turned over {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the nut flush and Hakim nodded.
