Hands #31-33: Sorrentino Counterfeits Kolkowicz in Huge Pot

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Raffaele Sorrentino
Raffaele Sorrentino

Hand #30: From the cutoff, Andreas Klatt raised {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to 235,000. Maxim Panyak three-bet his big blind making it 590,000 with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Klatt called in position. With 1,290,000 in the middle, the flop came {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Panyak bet 590,000. Klatt folded right away.

Hand #31: Now it was Raffaele Sorrentino in the cutoff and he raised to 230,000 with {A-Spades}{4-Spades}. This time it was Michael Kolkowicz with ten-nine suited, {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and he called from the button. andrey Bondar over called from the big blind with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} to make it three-handed.

With {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} on the flop, Bondar and Sorrentino checked. Kolkowicz bet 260,000 and Sorrentino Bondar called, Sorrentino folded. The {9-Hearts} on the turn paired Kolkowicz and Bondar checked. Kolkowicz bet 480,000 into 1,310,000. Bondar folded after quite some time in the tank.

Hand #32: Maxim Panyak took down the pot with a raise. His cards were not shown on the stream.

Hand #33: Michael Kolkowicz raised to 230,000 with {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} under the gun. Andrey Bondar called on the button with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Andreas Klatt folded {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} in the big blind, Sorrentino called from the big blind with {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

The {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs} had something for everyone. Sorrentino, having flopped top pair, checked. Kolkowicz bet 315,000, Bondar called and so did Sorrentino. With the pot now 1.7 million, the {7-Spades} hit the turn. Sorrentino checked again and Kolkowicz, now with the best hand, bet 670,000. Bondar folded, Sorrentino called.

The {5-Clubs} on the river had both players check and Sorrentino took down the pot with the better two pair. Kolkowicz, having been counterfeited, shook his head in disgust.
