The flop came {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and again both players checked. The river was the {k-Spades} and Vitkind check-folded to a bet of 100,000 from his opponent.

Hand #68: Pavel Shirshikov raised to 90,000 from the button with {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Seyed Ghavam defended his big blind with {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The flop was {2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Shirshikov folded after Ghavam bet.

Hand #66: Lavrentiy Ni open-jammed from the cutoff with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for 385,000, getting a call from Troyanovskiy in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Pavel Shirshikov grabbed a handful of chips and three-bet to 875,000 holding {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Troyanovskiy folded.

A classic race for Ni’s tournament life was underway. The dealer fanned out a {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} board, giving Shirshikov a flush on the turn and Ni’s Main Event run came to an end in fifth place. For his efforts, Ni received RUB 8,535,000 or approximately USD $151,017.

Hand #64: Lavrentiy Ni limped small blind with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Seyed Ghavam with {k-Spades}{3-Clubs} called the big blind. A flop of {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} saw Ni bet 45,000 and Ghavam raised to 130,000. Ni then responded with a three-bet to 215,000 and Ghavam called. The turn was the {5-Clubs}.

Ni moved all in and Ghavam called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds}

Ni was left with fewer that 10 big blinds.

Hand #65: Seyed Ghavam limped from the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Vladimir Troyanovskiy checked in the big blind holding {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} . The flop was {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and both players checked, getting the {10-Diamonds} for free.

Ghavam led for 45,000, and Troyanovskiy raised to 165,000. Ghavam then three-bet to 370,000 and Troyanovskiy flatted. The river brought the {5-Clubs} into the mix and both players checked. Troyanovskiy’s two-pair was good.

Hand #59: Dmitry Vitkind raised to 90,000 with the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} on the button and scooped the blinds and antes.

Hand #60: Lavrentiy Ni raised to 85,000 with {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} on the button and Vladimir Troyanovskiy defended the big blind with {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The flop fell {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy checked, Ni continued for 85,000 and Troyanovskiy check-raised to 255,000.

Ni called and the {6-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Troyanovskiy bet 335,000 for almost half the pot and Ni called to see the {J-Clubs} river pair the board. Troyanovskiy checked and Ni checked behind to drop down further in the counts.

Hand #61: Seyed Ghavam raised to 85,000 with {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds} on the button and Pavel Shirshikov three-bet to 265,000 in the big blind with {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Ghavam let go and the pot was shipped to Shirshikov.

Hand #62: Shirshikov picked up {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} in the small blind and raised to 130,000, Dmity Vitkind folded the {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} in the big blind.

Hand #63: Shirshikov raised to 100,000 with {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} from the button and Ni defended the big blind with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. On a flop of {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, Ni checked and Shirshikov continued for 125,000 to force a fold from Ni.

Hand #57: Vladimir Troyanovksiy raised to 85,000 from the button with {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The blinds folded and Troyanovskiy took down the pot.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Vitkind checked to Ni who bet 145,000. Vitkind called. The turn was the {q-Spades} and Ni bet again for 365,000. Vitkind called.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and both players checked. Vitkind took down the pot and boosted his stack to around 2.75m.

Hand #53: Troyanovskiy open to 85,000 with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} from early position and Bubnov called in the big blind holding {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Troy continued with a bet of 80,000. Bubnov thought for a moment before moving all-in and Troyanovskiy snap-called, putting Bubnov at risk.

The {7-Spades} fell on the turn giving Bubnov a few more outs but the river {a-Spades} bricked and Bubnov became the first casualty of Day 6. The Spin & Go qualifier picked up RUB 6,570,000 or USD $116,249, monstrously his largest cash ever.
