Sokolovskiy Gets Paid Off

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Ilya Sumzin opened to 1,700 and was called by [Removed:19] on the button and Ivan Arbatskii in the big blind. The trio checked the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop before the action checked to Sokolovskiy on the {Q-Diamonds} turn. He bet 1,500 and both opponents came along to see the {7-Spades} river.

Again it checked around to Sokolovskiy and he made it 6,000 to go. Arbatskii quickly folded, and Sumzin called before sending his cards into the muck as Sokolovskiy turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for the nut flush.

Big River Bet by Yurasov

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

There were four players, including Dmitry Yurasov, pay 3,500 preflop to see a flop of {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Action folded around to the preflop aggressor in late position who continued with a bet of 3,800. Yurasov and one other player made the call.

All three checked when the {k-Spades} fell on the turn and the {8-Spades} arrived on the river. The first player to act checked and Yurasov responded with a bet somewhere in the range of 60,000 as he grabbed his stack of blue 5k chips and had it topped off with his remaining 1k chips, the bet was more than enough to cover both opponents and each found a fold rather quickly.

River Over Bet; Call To Chop?

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Robert Askarov opened to 1,300 from the button and picked up a solitary caller in big blind Roman Kundasov. These two have been at the same table all day.

There was no action on the flop or the turn as both players eyed each other up while checking and the board at the river read [9s8s6cth7h}.

With a straight on board, and first to act, Kundasov over bet the pot to the tune of 7,000. There wasn’t much of a pause before Askarov verbally declared the call.

Kundasov showed his {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for Jack high straight and there was no chopped pot and Askarov had to count put the call from his stack.

Some for Chiginev

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Daniyar Aubakirov was the initial raiser from under the gun and picked up two callers with Matthijs Silkeit in the cutoff and Denis Chiginev in the big blind. The flop of {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Spades} was checked to Aubakirov and he continued for 2,000, which both opponents called.

After the {8-Spades} turn, Chiginev checked again and Aubakirov bet 5,000. That was too much for Silkeit, but Chiginev tossed in the chip for the call. Both players ended up checking the {4-Hearts} river and Chiginev rolled over {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for two pair. Aubakirov mucked and lost some chips, but remains on six figures.

Another Miracle for Kim

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Vadim Kim shoved for his last 8,100 from under the gun and Artsiom Zhadinsky on the button as well as Vladimar Shashkov in the big blind called. The latter bet the {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop for 10,000. Zhadinsky folded and Shashkov turned over {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. Kim grabbed his jacket and stood up, exposing his {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The turn was a blank, but the {9-Diamonds} river gave Kim a set and triple up to sit back down.

Konstantin Pogodi Claims Three-Bet Pot

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

There was an under the gun open to 1,300 with the player in the big blind absent. Konstantin Pogodin made the call from the next seat and there was one more caller before Artem Vezhenkov in the small blind squeezed to 5,600.

The original raiser folded, Pogodin called and the remaining player folded.

The flop was {5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Hearts} with action on Vezhenkov. He checked and when Pogodin bet 7,500 that as the end of that.

Vezhenkov’s neighbour whispered something to him but was met only with a non-committal shrug.

Sky's the Limit For Oleg

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

All the chips went in the middle in a hand just played out between Oleg Sklyanov and Dmitrii Grinenko. The flop came {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs} and the chips went in with Sklyanov being the player at risk.

Sklyanov: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Grinenko: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}

Sklyanov scored the double when the turn and river came — {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} — and received a healthy boost to his stack.

David Calzada Shoves Suited Ace

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

David Calzada got his last 10,000 in from late position and it folded to big blind Michal Majewski who called.

Calzada shrugged and tabled {a-Spades}{6-Spades} but he was dominated by the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} of Majewski.

A run out of {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} saw Calzada’s Main Event draw to a close, at least for today.

Lykov Gets Short

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Gevorg Vazgenovich was the initial raiser from under the gun and found a customer in Maxim Lykov from middle position. Vazgenovich bet the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop for 2,200 and Lykov called before the {8-Diamonds} turn saw a check from Vazgenovich, a bet of 5,000 by Lykov and a reluctant call.

The {J-Spades} river was checked through again and Vazgenovich was the first player after the button, so he had to show first and flipped over {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Lykov shook his head, sighed and sent his cards into the muck to drop down further in the counts.
