On the same table as Andrei Zaichenko and Andrey Gulyy, a big pot just emerged and would see Timofey Vekshin depart under painful circumstances. It started with a raise to 1,100 by Danila Solovyev and he was called by one player before Vekshin three-bet to 6,000 in the small blind. Only Solovyev called and the flop fell . Vekshin continued for 9,000 and Solovyev called before both players checked the turn.

Grospellier joins fellow PokerStars Team Pro Aditya Agarwal and Team Online's Mikhail Shalamov to represent the red spade today and will try to run up a stack to join Chris Moneymaker for Day 2.

Neiaskin:

Ashkan Fattahi raised to 900 and was called by one player before Aleksei Danilov three-bet to 2,000. Jason Wheeler called in the small blind and Fattahi, as well as the cold-caller, came along. On the flop, the action checked to Danilov and his bet of 3,000 won the pot.
Wheeler joined late and is well above the average, and the same also applies for Danilov after claiming this pot without showdown.
After a raise to 700, Alexander Lukyanov called and so did Aleksandr Zhilinskii before short stack Anvar Muratov shoved for 1,025 in the big blind. All three players called and checked down the board of entirely. Muratov showed and the initial raiser flashed . Lukyanov was reluctant to show his cards and turned over , which ended up winning half the pot as Zhilinskii's took the other half.
