Kakhmazov Jams on Gililov

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

With what looked to be well over 100,000 in chips already in the pot and a board reading {7-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}, a bet of 75,000 sat in front of Anton Gililov and Nadar Kakhmazov had jammed all-in for 303,000. Gililov eventually gave up after quite a long conversation in Russian.

Massive Setup Sends Lykov to the Rail

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Maxim Lykov
Maxim Lykov

Maxim Lykov raised to 15,000 and Olga Finogenova moved all in for 16,000 from one seat over. Pavel Shirshikov in the big blind squeezed to 70,000 and the action folded back to Lykov, who reraised to 150,000. Shirshikov moved all in over the top and Lykov called it off for around 335,000.

Pavel Shirshirkov: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Maxim Lykov: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Olga Finogenova: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Finogenova trips tens, and the {4-Hearts} turn and {J-Diamonds} river kept her in the lead for the triple up while Lykov busted in a massive setup.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Pavel Kovalenko opened to 13,000 and Vladimir Troyanovskiy three-bet to 37,000 before the action folded back to Kovalenko. He jammed for around 160,000 and Troyanovskiy quickly splashed chips into the middle for the call.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Pavel Kovalenko: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board came {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and ace-high was good enough to claim the pot and eliminate Kovalenko.

Alexandr Minakov Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Alexandr Minakov had got a shove through on the previous hand but this time, when Seyed Ghavam opened the action and he shoved again, he got a call.

Minakov was at risk with {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} while Ghavam had him dominated with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

A run out of {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds} saw the remains of Minakov’s stack migrate to Ghavam.

Moneymaker: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Chebotarev: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs} giving Moneymaker the double up.

The next hand, Moneymaker picked up pocket aces, getting lots of value in a 100,000 pot.

Vahe Martirosyan
Vahe Martirosyan

Vahe Martirosyan started Day 2 with less than eight big blinds and spiked a lucky triple up early for less than five big blinds yesterday. He made it into the money and was just eliminated in 45th place.

Anton Gililov raised from early position and Martirosyan as well as Dmitry Chop in the small blind called. On the {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Chop checked and Gililov bet 44,000. Martirosyan announced a raise for most of his chips and Chop folded, Gililov moved all in and was called by Martirosyan.

Anton Gililov: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Vahe Martirosyan: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {7-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river were both blanks and that was it for Martirosyan.
