Pandilica was racing to stay in it but failed to gain any help on a {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, keeping Patreanu's pocket fives in the lead.

"Yes!" yelled Patreanu, who clasped his hands in excitement. He shook Pandilica's hand and congratulated him on a good game. The Romanian, one of the late registrants at the start of Day 2, finished in 2nd place and received €38,100.
