Vardjavand and Derkowski Throving

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Thang Duc Nguyen gave up another pot on the river against Frederik Jensen to drop down further before Jakob Madsen raised to 5,600. Nguyen in the cutoff, Florian Bach on the button and Toni Vardjavand in the big blind called. The flop of {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} was checked and Bach bet the {3-Spades} turn for 11,000. Vardjavand eyed his stack and check-raised to 50,000, forcing folds from all opponents.

Grzegorz Derkowski got value from Jonas Wohlgemuth after the latter defended his big blind and check-called a bet of 28,000 on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} river. Derkowski showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Wohlgemuth mucked {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} after paying off his opponent.

Soon after Derkowski got into some action with Michael Schulze on the {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. Schulze check-raised out of the big blind from 7,000 to 16,000. Derkowski clicked it back to 48,000 and Schulze folded after long consideration.
