Wendt Jumps Into the Lead

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Wendt raised to 23,000 from early position and Andre Haneberg called in the hijack. On the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, Wendt checked and called a bet of 12,000 before doing so again for 26,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn. Wendt checked the third street in a row on the {K-Hearts} river and Haneberg made it 58,000 to go.

Wendt quickly tossed in a single chip for the call and Haneberg mucked instantly.

Grzegorz Derkowski defended his big blind against a raise by Haneberg the next hand and check-called a bet of 16,000 on the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Derkowski's check on the {3-Hearts} turn triggered a bet of 225,000 by Haneberg and Derkowski folded.

Adnan Dizdarevic moved all in for 10 big blinds soon after and flashed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.
