Pete Chen has been on fire this year and is a strong contender in the Asia Player of the Year standings. He walked up to the tournament area moments ago and one of the players asked if Chen was hopping in.

"Yeah, I'll play later," he said. "Too early."

Yuki Ko pointed at the clock and said something, but Chen just laughed and shook his head.

Gutierrez Wins With a River Check-Raise

The river brought the {6-Clubs} and Gutierrez checked. Ogura bet 5,000 and as the shot clock was about to expire, Gutierrez raised to 18,000. Ogura considered his decision until there were three seconds remaining on the shot clock before he folded and Gutierrez took the pot.
