Lu Shows the Nuts

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

With the board reading {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts}, a player in the small blind who had the betting lead on the flop fired in 2,500. Weihsun Lu raised to 7,500 and received a quick call. Lu bet 10,000 more on the {6-Diamonds} river, and he got called once more. Lu turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for the nut straight, and his opponent pounded on the table in submission and mucked.

Bullets for Ko

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

In a pot that saw a few raises preflop, a player under the gun checked to Richi Dong Hee Ko in second position, and he bet 2,500 on the {2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop. After his opponent called and checked the {q-Clubs} turn, Ko put in a bet of 4,000. The under-the-gun player mucked, and Ko showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} before taking the pot.

Rosen Wheeling Early

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Jesse Rosen bet 2,100, which looked to be a little over the size of the pot, from the cutoff on a completed board of {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. His opponent in the small blind quickly cut out a call and put it in, but Rosen showed {a-}{3-} for a wheel on the river and scooped the pot.
