Deyra's Jacks no Good

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Nicolos Beker opened to 4,100 and Chris Moorman called from one seat over in the hijack. In the cutoff, Pierre Neuville three-bet to 14,100 and Ivan Deyra then four-bet to 28,500 after some consideration on the button. The blinds, Beker and Moorman quickly released their cards.

Neuville glanced over at the stack of Deyra, who had another 15,000 behind, and moved all in. Deyra called and was in need of help.

Ivan Deyra: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Pierre Neuville: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} was a sweat for the Frenchman, but neither the {4-Spades} turn nor the {6-Diamonds} river improved Deyra.

Boeree Gets Value

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Javier Zarco tangled with PokerStars Team Pro Liv Boeree in a recent pot where Boeree was in the big blind.

The final board read {2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Boeree led out for 11,500. Zarc gave it some considerable thought before he called. Boeree tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Zarco could only nod and muck.

Big Blind Special for Drozdov

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A raising war broke out between Mikhail Drozdov in the big blind and Dmitrii Shchepkin in early position. After the former eventually committed his stack of 54,100 and the latter quickly called, it became obvious why both players clashed as soon as the cards were turned over.

Mikhail Drozdov: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Dmitrii Shchepkin: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board of {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} changed nothing and Shchepkin lost a decent portion of his stack.

Another Table Breaks as Cody and Pagano Depart

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Lucy Pagano
Lucy Pagano

Jake Cody lost half of his stack to Julien Sitbon and then failed to hold up in two all ins against the same player. The second time was for his tournament life and the PokerStars Team Pro joined the rail. Luca Pagano was last seen with just six big blinds when switching tables and he also departed at almost the same time.

Right after, the staff broke a table as the field was reduced to the last 64 hopefuls. Another 30 of them will go home empty-handed, as the top 34 spots share a portion of the prize pool.

Huge Pot For Antonio German

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Four players went to a flop of {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Pierre Neuville led out for 9,500. Nathan Manuel called the bet and then Antonio German moved all in. The other player and Neuville folded but Manuel called.

Manuel turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} but German had him with his {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river the {10-Clubs}.

Manuel was eliminated and German scooped a huge pot.

Eugeniu Corotchii limped in from early position and Chris Moorman moved all in from the button. Corotchii glanced over at the tournament screen and called after brief consideration.

Chris Moorman: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Eugeniu Corotchii: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board came {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Moorman doubled for 27,600, taking most of his opponent's stack.
