PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki just walked in with a ticket in the hand and soon after sat down. Further new faces include Besim Hot, who is known around Rozvadov and Austria for high stakes cash game sessions, as well as Michal Ozimek and Paul Skipper.
Skipper finished 15th in the PokerStars Festival London £990 Main Event back in January and is looking to better that result here in Rozvadov.
On the river, Aviv Meiri bet 2,700 out of the big blind and Paris Stavridis on the button was his sole opponent. The German with Greek roots eventually called and Meiri turned over for just ace-high. Stavridis had that beat with and Meiri took off his sunglasses to glance at the board and smile about what had just happened.
One table over, the board lay and Aleksandar Tomovic bet 1,500. Jonas Lauck called in the cutoff and the fell on the river. Tomovic now checked and Lauck bet 4,000. After brief consideration, Tomovic called and Lauck rolled over for a full house to scoop the pot.
Table five has opened to accommodate new entries and the screens currently show 39 players. [Removed:197] and Jonas Lauck are back for more high roller action, and the new table featuresPierre Neuville, Vlado Banicevic, [Removed:170], Jack Hardcastle and Michael Uguccioni.
In one of the first hands, Banicevic bet the flop for 400 and was called by Uguccioni before firing another 1,100 on the turn. That won the pot without showdown.
One hand later, Uguccioni raised to 300 and was called by Neuville and Banicevic. On the flop, Banicevic checked to Uguccioni and the Italian continued for 500. Both opponents called, then got out of the way on the turn to another bet worth 1,500 by Uguccioni.
Claudio Monteforte has started well and took a few early pots to increase the stack. Fresh off forcing another fold on a jack-high turn, the Italian opened to 300 and one player caller. Aleksandar Tomovic three-bet to 1,500 on the button and Monteforte as well as the third player called.
On the flop, all three players checked. Tomovic then bet the turn when checked to him, and that forced two folds.
According to the screens, there are already 32 players registered but they haven't shown up entirely yet. Four tables are running short-handed and [Removed:197] is roaming around to see who is already in, while Georgios Vrakas, Aleksandar Tomovic, Paris Stavridis and 2016 EPT Barcelona champion Sebastian Malec have shown up at the tables.
Joining the action on the three-way flop of , Kayhan Molaci in the small blind, Mladen Ivanov in the big blind and initial raiser Dinesh Alt on the button were involved and invested 600 each. Molaci then checked the turn and Ivanov bet 1,200, Alt and Molaci both called.
On the river, the action checked to Ivanov and he bet 3,500. Alt folded after some consideration, but Molaci called and then mucked when Ivanov showed him for the nut flush.
While some 400 players remain in the €1,100 Main Event, the €2,200 High Roller kicked off with a few minutes delay and the first four tables are running. A list of first notables will be available shortly.
