Four-Bet by Staszko

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After a raise by Martin Staszko in late position, Martin Kabrhel three-bet to 9,600 from one seat over. Staszko four-bet to 26,000 and Kabrhel reluctantly called with the small talk added. "Do you have aces?"

The flop fell {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Staszko continued, Kabrhel quickly folded. He couldn't resist and added some further remarks. "If Martin four-bets, he mixes aces only with aces. Did you have black or red?" Kabrhel said. Staszko sat there with a big grin on the face and didn't show his cards.

Wrong Timing by Chmielewski

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

In a three-bet pot, Vladimir Troyanovskiy bet the flop of {A-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for 11,000 out of the blinds and initial raiser Marcin Chmielewski called in the cutoff. The {Q-Spades} fell on the turn and Troyanovskiy fired again, making it 23,500 to go. Chmielewski quickly pushed forward his stack and moved all in.

After brief consideration, Troyanovskiy asked for a count and the shove of Chmielewski was for 99,300 in total. Another minute passed and the start-of-the-day chip leader called.

Marcin Chmielewski: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

A blank {J-Hearts} river completed the board and Chmielewski grabbed his belongings, then walked out of the tournament area with a single "oops" on his lips.

Katchalov Cracks Aces to Bust Papa Guy

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A raising war broke out between Eugene Katchalov and Papa Guy. The former already four-bet to 37,000 and Paga Guy then carefully counted his stack for around 142,000 before moving all in. Katchalov called and it was a cooler for both players, having picked up the best two starting hands.

Papa Guy: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Eugene Katchalov: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Spades} and Katchalov paired his king on the turn to improve and eliminate Papa Guy, also jumping into the top spot. All remaining 16 players will mow be balanced to two tables.

Two Barrels by Banicevic

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Vlado Banicevic made it 4,400 to go and Andreas Eiler opted to defend his big blind, then checked the flop of {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Banicevic put on his sunglasses and continued for 6,000, which Eiler called and also put on the sunglasses as well. The staring contest quickly ended on the {3-Diamonds} turn though, as Eiler checked and folded to a second barrel worth 14,000 by Banicevic.

Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Viliyan Petleshkov opened the action with a raise to 4,500 from under the gun and Pierre Neuville moved all in for just under starting stack from the button. Eugene Katchalov peeked at his cards in the big blind and moved all in to isolate. Petleshkov shook his head and got out of the way to see yet another coin flip take place.

Pierre Neuville: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Eugene Katchalov: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The flop came {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Katchalov improved to a pair of aces. After a blank {5-Spades} turn and {4-Hearts} river, the second big name was sent packing early on.

ElkY First Casualty on Day 2

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier

The registration has closed, and the remaining players were balanced on three tables.

Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was the shortest stack coming back and he was at risk after just two hands. Aviv Meiri raised to 5,500 and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called from two seats over in the cutoff. ElkY moved all in for 20,900 out of the big blind and both opponents called.

The flop of {K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} went check, check, and Meiri also checked the {7-Clubs} turn. Troyanovskiy made it 30,000 to go and that forced a fold from Meiri.

Bertrand Grospellier: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

Only one of the two remaining queens could help Grospellier, but the {5-Hearts} river was a blank to send the first player to the rail.
