Katchalov Forces Fold on the River

Eugene Katchalov has pulled away to an almost 3-1 lead after taking down a big pot against Vladimir Troyanovskiy without showdown.

Troyanovskiy raised to 60,000 and Katchalov called to check the flop of {K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Troyanovskiy checked behind and faced a bet worth 90,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn. The Russian raised it up to 250,000 and Katchalov called.

Both then saw the {5-Clubs} appear on the river and a four-card straight emerged on the board. Katchalov bet 150,000 and Troyanovskiy gave him a stare down for half a minute before folding.

Another min-raised pot was then checked on the {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and the {A-Clubs} turn. Katchalov bet the {2-Clubs} river for 85,000 and Troyanovskiy called. Katchalov turned over {A-Spades}{5-Clubs} and top pair was good enough to win the pot.
